Brooks Camp likes in the heart of the Katmai National
Park, and serves as an oasis in many ways. There is running water there,
and electricity too, and even a protected campsite that is surrounded by a five
foot high electric fence. The place is known for its bears,
and in some ways its like you are stepping into Jurassic Park. There are
bears everywhere! It made for some very exciting days, and a
few interesting nights, but everyone had fun and we sure saw a lot of things to
be remembered.
