In September of 2006 Troop 230 went mountain biking and canoing, all in the same campout. We worked on advancement, helped the younger scouts get ready for winter, and had a lot of fun in the process. It was a great campout, and while it started out with rain before it was over the sky was clear and the cool autumn air was crisp, with the vibrant colors of fall covering the mountainsides like a painting.
