When a boy joins a scout troop, he is handed a Boy Scout Handbook, and on the very first page scouting promises him five things.   These five promises are the promises of scouting, and we take them seriously in Troop 230, and run a program that works to meet them one month after the next.     In doing so, we build character, foster citizenship, and develop fitness, and as we do we have a great time.    Enjoy the slideshow below.    Every picture you see was taken during a single four month period.   While the events are now memories, there are new adventures going on every single month of the year and new memories being made.
